The Etiquette of a Ghost Begins

At its essence, the Etiquette of a Ghost is very simple – here, there and everywhere but still nowhere.

The slight golden tinge sparkles in the sun, making the deep, rich metallic green to literally scream for attention. No one could expect a ghost to be this venturesome in broad daylight. They say that ghosts are supposed to be active only at night, don’t they?

The colour is called Belgravia Green, named after the affluent district of Central London. Bankers, lawyers, royals and heirs – all being chauffeured in their Range Rovers around the most expensive streets in London for business and pleasure. It makes very much sense, and no one would pay any attention to a ghost or two.

In the Nordics, however, the new Autobiography LWB, which stands for long wheelbase, is a true head-turner, especially because there aren’t many around. The tinted windows come in handy and there is also a button for electic rear windows to make you disappear completely. Once the sunblinds go up, it isn’t only you disappearing but also the world around you. And if you can’t see, you shouldn’t hear it either. That’s why the headrests are equipped with active noise cancellation.

But what is it that makes the Jaguar Land Rover brand so good that even royals trust on them? The answer is very simple. Land Rover really is the definition of the SUV segment, like Porsche is for the sports car segment. You don’t need to explain why you’re in one, the reputation of the brand does it for you, especially if you’re in their upmarket model – Range Rover.

There really is this royal, sophisticated aura around you while you sit on the backseat of an LWB. Your chauffeur, the spacious legroom, the comfortable Caraway perforated SemiAniline leather seats and a cold drink waiting in the refrigerator make the experience. And a massage tops it all.

You could expect this to be the end of the show. Not a chance. Luxury becomes ultra-luxury with two extra letters, S and V, on the badge – SVAutobiography.
